Shortly after graduating with my B.S. in Graphic Design, I began working at Enthuse Entertainment where I created web, print, and application graphics. After a few months, I was promoted to a creative director position, managing a publishing team of writers, editors, and illustrators. While in college, I worked at Abeka book and interned at RealTruck and Ocala Magazine. These opportunities allowed me to experience different design fields early in my career.

As the lead UX designer at Deeproot Tech, I managed the user experience and information architecture for a mobile app, e-commerce website and user portal, and the PinBar, an interactive gameplay touchscreen that integrates with physical pinball machines. I work with a talented team of developers, engineers, and creatives. I now work as a contract app designer for Turner Logic, a tech company based in San Antonio. I seek to create the best possible user experience (UX) supported by versatile user interface (UI) elements.

I’m always learning something new; art infuses my free time. I just can’t help myself! There’s something invigorating about escaping from the daily hours of screen time for some hands-on-extra-messy kind of creative projects. I enjoy painting, home projects, and woodworking. I believe traditional art principles influence digital design.
